Supported Housing Program (SHP) The Supported Housing Program (SHP) provides support services and a rental stipend to individuals who live in their own apartments in the community. Staff from TSI meet with a Supported Housing tenant in the tenant’s apartment. To be considered for this program, a person must be at least 18 years of age, diagnosed with a mental illness, and in need of safe and affordable housing. Priority admission is given to individuals diagnosed with a mental illness who are homeless.
